Nothing says love like a wooly hug

A perfect guide to gifts for your loved ones

Show your loved one how much you care about them – and the environment – this Valentine’s Day by giving them a gift made from wool: a natural, renewable and biodegradable fibre.

Unlike synthetics, which are industrially produced from non-renewable fossil energy, Merino wool is a natural fibre grown year-round by Merino sheep. Investing in a classic jumper, scarf or trouser for your loved one is investing in a high-quality piece that will endure for as long (or possibly longer) than your love for them.

If you are treating a partner, a friend, a family member or yourself to a picnic or spending the night in with a movie, a wool blanket is the perfect addition. Wool’s next-to-skin softness and breathability makes it the perfect couch companion. As wool is naturally stain and odour resistant, you don’t need to worry about damaging your blanket or throw by taking it on an adventure with you.

Finally, if you can’t be with your loved one this Friday, sending them a wool hot water bottle cover might be the closest thing to giving them a huge hug. However, Valentine’s day is not all about gifting. We hope you take some time to do something to make yourself, and those around you, feel warm and fuzzy.
