RB Sellars and Woolmark partner on Australian Merino wool for the life outdoors

RB Sellars and Woolmark collaborate on an Australian Grown campaign, bringing Merino wool into focus through men’s, women’s and children’s styles designed for work, movement and life outdoors.

Two Australian icons come together through a shared respect for Merino wool, but behind the fibre is something much more enduring. At woolgrowing properties like Woomargama and Roseville Park in New South Wales, a steady stream of wool passes through shearing sheds, in a story that spans generations of expertise and careful breeding.

When RB Sellars visits Roseville Park, the Merino stud is in the throes of shearing. While swells of ewes move across the landscape, the shearing shed thrums with the activity of weighing, testing and recording freshly shorn wool. The wool from Roseville Park’s flock sits at around 17.5 microns, a fine wool as the result of years of selection and commitment to consistency.

“It might look like nature at work, but behind it is generations of selection and a lot of very deliberate decisions… Roseville Park wool is a certain style of wool. Very bright, very white, with a unique lock structure and crimp character.” – Matthew Coddington, Roseville Park Woolgrower.

In partnership, RB Sellars and Woolmark pay tribute to Australian Merino wool and the generations of woolgrowers behind it. RB Sellars and Woolmark celebrate the wool fibre and its legacy through a collection of base-layers, singlets, polos and T-shirts, each bearing the iconic Woolmark logo as a symbol of quality, performance and the enduring place of Merino wool in Australian rural life.

“This collection is proudly grown by farmers and worn by farmers, creating a circular story from paddock to product.” – RB Sellars CEO, Jim Gall.

Across Australia’s vast and varied landscape, nothing stands still for long. The collection draws on the Merino wool fibre’s natural characteristics including odour resistance, moisture management and comfort across climates, terrain and days spent in motion. Designed for the outdoors, RB Sellars’ latest collection reflects the rhythms of working on the land, from first light on the farm through the demands of the day, celebrating a fibre that remains deeply shaped by the land and those who care for it.
