A rather disappointing week at Australian wool sales this week, with price falls being registered across the board. In one of the lowest volumes of the season so far, buyers were less than enthusiastic amidst reports of a worrying lack of interest from most of the overseas users. A small amount of new business was written and restricted to just one or two of the larger mills only. Also these contracts were for further out months of delivery, and at prices considered par to, or below current levels.
