The Wool Lab AW18/19 will also be brought to life at Pitti Filati via a fashion show staged by Creative Knitwear Design Masters students in partnership with Accademia Costume & Moda along with Modateca Deanna. Collaborating with some of Italy’s most prestigious knitwear and yarn companies and with the technical support offered by Stoll and Shima Seiki, the Masters degree has been created for young designers interested in focusing on knitwear design and innovation. Participants also had the unique opportunity to create new yarns in collaboration with Zegna Baruffa Lane Borgosesia, working directly in the factory.

Designers used The Wool Lab AW18/19 as inspiration for their looks, creating 12 outfits using their original 100 per cent Merino wool yarns which will be presented at the fashion show on June 28 at Pitti Filati, and will be showcased at Zegna Baruffa Lane Brogosesia’s stand during Pitti Filati.
