The Woolmark Company will showcase The Wool Lab SS17, an innovative seasonal guide to the best wool fabrics and yarns in the world, and present its commercially available fabric samples aligned to the season’s macro-themes. The latest edition of The Wool Lab dedicates four out of six themes to a style that is suitable for both womenswear and menswear, demonstrating that wool fabrics continue to become increasingly popular outside of traditional men’s tailoring.
In recent years the world has experienced an increasing trend towards more casual attire - both in formal and informal situations. In response to this trend The Woolmark Company has worked closely with wool manufacturers to develop new processes that can provide casual effects for wool. Wool Gets Casual is a direct result of these innovations.
The Woolmark Company will be presenting innovative woollen garments from manufactures across India such as Raymond Ltd and Arvind Brands, highlighting commercially available apparel with a casual look. The designs will highlight the versatility of wool that can be adapted to fashion trends and make a classic statement.
