GS Shop introduced its AW14/15 Merino Wool collection ‘SO, WOOL’ at Korea's Australia Day celebrations.
Held at the Grand Hyatt in Seoul, this year’s theme was Showcasing Australia and attracted more than 2000 guests, including Korean and Australian business leaders, senior Korean government officials, National Assembly representatives, media personnel and Woolmark partners including GS Shop, Lotte Deptartment Store, Cheil (Samsung Group) and Aztech WB.
A fashion show was the event highlight, introducing GS Shop’s premium wool brand ‘SO, WOOL’ AW14/15 collection, showcasing 30 Merino wool outfits for both men and women.
The Woolmark Company was able to provide information to guests about the value and importance of the Woolmark brand, the benefits of wool and the relationship between the Australian wool industry with the global fashion industry.
As the major sponsor of the event, The Woolmark Company exhibited apparel made from Australian Merino wool along with the farm to fashion journey. From raw wool to end product, visitors were able to learn about the wool processing pipeline and also discover The Wool Lab – an inspirational tool connecting designers, retailers and manufacturers with the world’s best wool suppliers.
