An effective contaminant removal system is a very important component of a wool scouring plant.
It increases operating efficiency due to higher utilisation of machine ultimately resulting in less down time, allows for a better use of resources and better scouring performance thanks to lower levels of contaminants in bowls, reduces the amount of pollution and disposal costs and generates income from the sale of recovered wool wax.
Contaminants can take the form of dirt or wool wax and can be extracted via series or parallel recovery devices.
